Draft synopsis
Mia had been gone from home for too long. So much had happened in so little time. She was beginning to learn her powers, gain some semblance of control of the elements. Fought off demons. Now, she had released a drakkol. Watched him shift from dragon to man, back to dragon.
Didn’t get why he’d been hunted, or if she’d done the right thing after all. Didn’t want to. What she wanted, was to get home. She needed a breather from everything magic.
Only home seemed to be a little too close to a drakkol who scared her. In a bad, bad, way. His interest didn’t seem to be for pleasure.
At least not hers.
