Beware the hellhounds who lurk in the shadows for they are so hungry, and you are so tasty.

I really need coffee

I’m low on coffee and can’t get any until next month. So I’ve been only having a morning cup and lemme tell ya. I’ve noticed a difference. It’s 2 pm and I’m tiiiirrreeddddd, lol. Been getting my daily workout in again, waking early, so by noon, I need a little boost in energy. Coffee works so that I can still fall asleep at 9:30 pm when I go to bed.

Also I’ve been dealing with Mila having an ear ache so the past few nights she wakes and doesn’t sleep through the night. Which means I don’t get much sleep at night. I’ve been treating her the past few days though so after two days of it, last night she finally managed to sleep more. Still a little tender in her left ear, but doing far better. I keep her ears clean, but I guess the cleaner wasn’t getting deep enough so it’s a minor infection she has, but for her it’s a big deal. The cleaner I’m using is a great one to use. Don’t use the apple cider vinegar I mention, if they have wounds.

Ear cleaner for dogs – Soak one green tea bag in 8 oz of water. Then add 1 tbsp of apple cider vinegar. Omit the vinegar if they have any kind of wounds because it will cause pain. Warm in microwave before use every time. It’ll store (covered) in fridge for a good week or two, which is about how long it takes for me to use it up doing a clean 2x a day for the infection.

Then just put a few drops or a few cc into their ears and squish about, then wipe clean. For Mila, it’s maybe 1/8 of a teaspoon to 1/4 tsp I end up using? Because I’ll soak half of a cotton ball then wipe the entire interior of the ear, allowing the liquid to fall inside her canal. Then I take a small syringe and insert some into the canal itself, squish is about for a good few seconds, then wipe the entire ear clean and dry it with another cotton ball and some tissues. Don’t reach too far into the ear and if they’re dealing with an infection, be very gentle.

Here’s a video to describe what I did and what you can use if your dog has an ear infection, or is prone to them.

Featured image is Mila feeling better last night, so she was cuddling with me while I read. I got the giggles when she looked at me. lol

Disclaimer – I’m not a doctor or a veterinarian so use at your own risk, talk to your vet if you have questions and to be sure it is an ear infection your dog may suffer from.
