Kenley relived a moment from her past and ended up falling asleep thinking about it so we now have an early hint as to why she is the way she is, and a bit more background into what happened to her kind.

I’m still struggling with what to call them though, which is bugging me. I hate making a note
to come back to as I write. Every time I write the name of them, I just write “Predator,” followed by {note – beast name}, and it’s annoying, lol. Right now it’s to make sure my mind knows what I’m referring to. So I gave them a default label of Predator, and I follow it with the note mark. In edits I can find and change the name when I’ve figured out what the heck I want to call them.

It’d be easy just to name them Lycan or Werewolves, but I don’t want to go that route. I was gonna combine names like Werewolf + Human, but couldn’t come up with anything good. Then I went toward the different language translations for them. For names and descriptions too. Came up with Hunterblut for Hunter Blood, but that’s an iffy. Considered Slayer, but that seems awkward. So that is giving me a fun little challenge to figure out.

We’ll see where that goes though. Eventually something that fits them well will go ping.
