This comes to us from Property of the Pack. This novelette is a companion to the novel Law of the Beast. Law of the Beast is in the Dynasty of Moirae series. That is the 3rd series in the Dark Moon Dynasty Universe. PotP is a companion book so you don’t lose much of the overall story by not reading it, nor gain too much by reading it. It is merely an enhancement. And by reading it, anyone who craves more of the erotic elements like the Dark Illusions series had, they’ll find that in this, but with the Lycaen.
Beth covered it when she said, “Anything else, I’ll be in the back.”
Baer moved back in his seat by the time Beth stepped away and took in each person. Never having noticed a thing. She disappeared into the back as Dane came over to flip the seat around so he could lounge back in it.
“I’ll get back to that thought,” Dane pointed out as a warning not to intervene.
Bianca ducked her head. “Wasn’t protecting him. He’s an asshole.”
Devin chuckled in front of her. “Not your boyfriend?”
Bianca gave him a hard stare. “No.” She grabbed a fry and popped it in her mouth.
“We don’t intervene in lovers’ quarrels,” Sabre informed her.
Her eyes widened. “I’m not his love—oh.” She sighed. “That’s not funny.”
Raeden chuckled beside her. “You seem to prefer more . . .” his voice rumbled out, “strength.”
Forcing herself not to say anything, she grabbed another fry. Then one more. She munched away while Devin smiled across the table.
Devin asked her, “You don’t owe us for that, you know that?”
