This post is where I will keep track of the daily  word count for Mitosis, the second in The Alchemist series. Just finished Birth of a Princess yesterday. Today I spent the day working on the page for this book and this word count post. Tomorrow I will begin the actual writing. This story will pick up right where we left off with Cessation. Mayyyybe 10-30 minutes later. It will be fun, I’m excited to begin this one as it’s been gnawing at me for quite a bit, and I look forward to seeing if Cody gets a happily ever after like I HOPE to see. But then we (writers) don’t force characters into our world, we write theirs, so I don’t really know what’ll happen.

As usual, I don’t go into this with a heavy outline either. I have a few bullet pointed thoughts and thoughts to do, but the overall story will come as it comes. Just doesn’t work well for me if I force myself to sit down and outline something heavily before I begin, or even know what the story is.
