I’m working on a new crochet blanket for Lucy (our 9 lbs Shih Tzu). My mom bought some yarn last year called Twinkle Stripes so I decided to make it into a simple baby blanket for Lucy-goose.

It’s a simple pattern I’m doing all on my own.
120 stitches starting chain.
Every even row is a single crochet through both loops.

Every odd row is single crochet through back loop only.
So I did the chain of 120, then a row of sc both loops, chain one, turn, single crochet through back loop only and continued that across the row. Chain one and turn, then sc through both loops. Continuously repeating that pattern. This is what it looks like so far.
To finish it, I’m not quite sure what I’ll do for the “lacy” look edge yet, but I’m thinking a ruffle edge like on this post to make it frilly.
