Story Creation Magic Series
A helpful list of links to all the posts in this series. New posts are marked with the NEW! tag. The entire purpose behind this series amounts to two things.
One is that I will discuss writing a story from no idea all the way up to self-publishing the work. I’ll attempt to cover all topics surrounding that, and things may get disorganized in how I post the topics, but on this page, I’ll keep it as organized as I can. That way you can easily come back and find the information you need, as well as the timing. Say if you’re near the end and need extra help there, you can come find that process toward the end of this post. So on.
Two is that I really want this to be interactive. As you think of topics where you could use the extra help or need the extra ideas, offer them up. As you have questions, ask. When you see someone ask a question and you think of an idea to help, offer it. I will also reply when I can, or it may end up as a future topic.
There are no time limits, no limits to the questions you can ask, or how many times you can come back and comment. Also don’t worry about the length of your comment. If it takes you a page, write a page. If not, write something short. No need for perfect grammar either. That’s not what this is about. Obviously when publishing, you need to spell check, edit, and go over the work. THIS IS NOT SCHOOL. This is to give you the tools and the ideas, but when it comes to publishing, you have to do the editing and find yourself an editor. I’ll also throw self-editing into the topics list.
Every week there should be a new post. You can subscribe to my blog on the sidebar, or my newsletter to also receive the posts. The links are at the bottom of every newsletter. Either way works.
As you submit ideas, I’ll put them on this page. Until they are linked, they haven’t been discussed.
