Bruce Balfour – Prometheus Road
I have read Bruce’s other book, The Forge of Mars, which I didn’t realize was his until I saw it in the bio on this book. I enjoyed both of them. I think the only real nitpickery part of the book for me was where some of the characters trusted total strangers more than I would. But then, this is definitely not a “real life” sort of book so I can look past it and it didn’t detract from my enjoyment. Also the fact that the way they are spoken about, the characters aren’t wise old individuals, they are fairly young.
These would be better suited to the more science fiction crowd I think, or the people who enjoy the idea of technology taking over.
I read a paperback version of this book.
